July Newsletter

Welcome to this month’s Newsletter! July 2026

I’m currently in the gardens growing food, making sure there is enough water for the plants and all our friends living there. Also in the studio making new collages and clay components for larger pieces, that will include plants.

I’m also busy working with Carrie Reichardt on a new Public Art work for Ashton-in-Makerfield that will be revealed later this year.

It’s an amazing summer for flowers and I’ve been foraging lots of Sussex wildflowers for my tea collection, Wild and Loose. You’ll be able to choose from Ground Ivy, Hawthorn blossom, Nettle, Linden flower, Lemon balm, Meadowsweet, Selfheal, Lady’s Bedstraw and more. I am also working on the new packaging which will be ready for an autumn launch.

All new work and teas will be in the website shop soon!

In Brighton, I have open workshops to work on communal art pieces, which can be attended free of charge, where you’ll learm mosaic making. No experience is needed. It’s very informal and I aim to provide a supportive environment that will inspire you to get started on your own projects!

15th August 11-4pm The Avant Garden. We will be making small sections of glass mosaic to contribute to the Waterman sculpture for this wonderful communal space.

On this day there is also the option to design, make and finish a mosaic to take home. You’ll be supported to design, select tiles and colours, use the tools and, following construction and drying, you’ll be guided through the grouting process. All materials and tools provided. Pls book your place via my email or website and pay on arrival. The cost for this is £50 with concessions available or artists solidarity fee if you are able to pay more.

22nd August East Brighton Green Spaces Community Day, details to follow.
